Why can't single brothers get on istance?

i called down the istance office and they say a single guy like me cant get welfare. why not? am i suppsed to starve myself? i have a few babies, but they live with their mothers. i cant get a decent job to pay my rent and food and bills and stuff, so how i supposed to live? i even tried to go to comunity college, but they told me i had to get my ged first. im trying to better myself, but i just need alitlte help to get strait. how come the govment doest help single guys but they help single women with kids? it aint fair i think. if i were white i think the govment would have more programs for me. white people wont even hire me to drive a bus because i dont know the routes, but i'd lern them. i just need a chance.
